BEHIND EBN

Who we are

BEHIND EBN is both a label group and a collective. From the heart of Hamburg, DJs and producers Florian Martin, Carsten Lühr and Tim Gröpper have been running the association of music labels with different stylistic orientations in electronic dance music for over 10 years. Originating from the “Electronic Beatz Network” founded in 2000, BEHIND EBN has become a network behind the network.

Since 2013, over 100 artists have released more than 650 tracks on over 350 releases on one of the seven labels.

What we do

In addition to the classic distribution tasks of a music label, BEHIND EBN also offers its artists comprehensive support with questions and problems in the areas of marketing and social media. In addition, we are also committed to active networking between artists.

How we do it

It should be a matter of course - and at BEHIND EBN it is. Every BEHIND EBN artist has access to all relevant invoices, graphics and other PR material at all times via the intranet.

In addition, the intranet also provides access to the entire release catalog and the internal forum. The forum ensures uncomplicated support from the respective label manager, but also provides regular information about remix and booking requests and other important events.

In order to offer the artist the greatest possible freedom, only individual contracts (per release / band takeover contract) are concluded. The contract term is 10 years. While many labels pay out after a “minimum turnover per release” has been reached, BEHIND EBN charges according to the “minimum turnover of the artist (complete)”. This benefits “smaller” artists in particular who have a wide range of music and are represented on several of our music labels.
